Rustic eshoot with Nicola & Andrew

I met up with Nicola and Andrew the other day to finalise details for their wedding which is coming up very soon and to do their eshoot. Nicola and Andrew decided on a more rustic look for their eshoot so we headed over to Fiddleford Manor and the lovely water meadows which surround it, a beautiful sunny spring day too :-)

Nicola and Andrew are getting married on the 7th May at St Peters Church in North Newton Somerset and then head to the fab Maunsel House for their reception.

Here are just a few pictures from Nicola and Andrew’s eshoot…

Very proud of my big boy today :-)

Today is the day he started High School, smart he looked, a little nervous maybe, but mostly just very very excited about the new beginning and all the opportunities it will bring.

My boy is growing up!

Hope you have a great day Cam, see you this evening.

Fiddleford Manor Dorset eshoot of Emma & William

Another lovely sunny day and a great opportunity to meet up with Emma and William for their eshoot. We decided to wander down to the lovely Fiddleford Manor just outside Sturminster Newton Dorset, where it’s nice and peaceful and the surroundings are really beautiful. Emma and William are getting married in September at the stunning Athelhampton House in the heart of the lovely Dorset countryside, lets hope for some sun then too!

Fiddleford Manor Dorset, Eshoot with Lisa & Chris

Met up with Lisa and Chris today, who have just arrived from Australia for their wedding which is in a couple of weeks time at Athelhampton House in Dorset. We popped down to Fiddleford Manor for their eshoot, and had to make use of the brollies for the first time this year, still it didn’t spoil our fun but lets hope we don’t need them again in a couple of weeks time!

Here are a few of my favourite pictures from their eshoot:

Plan Your Wedding: Insider Info – What’s Hot for 2010 by Enzo’s Hair & Beauty

Today’s article come from the lovely girls Sarah and Sue and their team at the fab Enzo’s salon. Enzo’s do all things wicked with hair and beauty and are excellent with that special touch for your wedding.

Here is Sarah:

Spring/summer trends 2010

Hair trends:

•    Plaits & braids, worn loosely or like chunky ropes over one shoulder. Spotted on the red carpet and catwalk this season.

•    Top/knots; worn messy or sleek as far up your head as you can possible go!

•    Textured; using crimps and then pinned, think lady gaga!

•    Rock chick-esque; dubbed the get out of bed look! Long tresses worn loosely and texturised from the mid lengths down.

•    Chic ponytail; a classic style that even hides a bad hair day!

•    Loose waves

•    New bob in town, gone the short edgy bob in the long more classic precision finish.

•    Hair accessories; from Alice bands to hair gems, glam in its simplest form.

•    Hair colours; keep it natural blondes, reds and brunette oozing lots of shine, a real dominating look this season.

(The Enzo’s girls doing their thing at the wedding of Nicole and Philip)

Make up trends:

Two big trends:

•    Nude flawless finish; be seen to let the skin do the talking not the make up, with hint of sun kissed shimmer use creams gold’s and coppers to perfect this look.

•    Smoky brights; bolder, brighter, colourful, no more greys in come statement colours.

With love Sarah x

Fiddleford Manor Dorset Eshoot with Sarah & Jon

What a lovely day and just perfect for a meandering wander through the water meadows near Fiddleford Manor in Dorset with Sarah and Jon for their Eshoot. Sarah and Jon were a bit nervous at first, both of them not keen on having their pictures taken, still soon we were all laughing and having a great time, and the camera clicking away was all but forgotten. Sarah and Jon are getting married in the lovely little church All Saints in Durrington and then going on to Shrewton Manor near Stone Henge for their reception, I hope the weather is as good as it has been today.

Plumber Manor Dorset Wedding of Michele & Tom

A cold slightly overcast but at least dry day, a shame because the sun has been shining so much recently, still I’m sure it won’t dampen any spirits. Today is the wedding of Michele and Tom and I am lucky because Tom’s family home (Plumber Manor) is right on my doorstep near Sturminster Newton in Dorset, no long journey’s for me today. Michele and Tom actually met and fell in love some 13 years ago, and today at last they get to declare and seal their love by finally getting married.
So, its off to Plumber Manor first to find Michele and the other girls and to cover the usual morning preparations and to capture those important details such as the dress, flowers and shoes etc. Time flies and soon it’s time for the short Journey back to Sturminster Newton itself and to St Mary’s Church where the ceremony is to be held. I park up and wander back toward the town as I am well aware that the boys have been holed up in the local Inn the Swan, I round the corner and lo and behold Tom and his army of Best men and Ushers are already heading towards me and St Mary’s. We walk back to the church together and soon more and more guests arrive and its time for Tom to go inside and take his place.
Michele soon arrives and its down the aisle to Tom to finally make their wedding vows. Outside again Mr and Mrs Prideaux-Brune at last! Tom and Michele climb into the family vintage Rolls and amid a torrid downpour of confetti head off back to Plumber Manor for their reception.
On arrival at Plumber manor guests are formally greeted and we then proceed from the marquee into the beautiful gardens to get those important family pictures. Group shots now over, the family and guests head back into the marquee, there is a definite chill in the air, Michele, Tom and I however take this opportunity to slip away for a few quiet moments and to capture a few more romantic images for their album.
Time for the wedding breakfast, in the beautifully decorated and lit marquee, followed by the traditional weeding speeches and of course the cutting of the wedding cake. Dark outside now, the gardens beautifully lit, its time for Michele and Tom to take to the dance floor for their first official dance as husband and wife. The DJ then steps up the tempo and the dance floor quickly fills and the real partying can begin. My time to leave, and in ten minutes, I will actually find my way to my own bed for a change! What a fantastic day.
