Folkestone locations

I hadn't really got a clue what I would be able to find in Folkestone, not knowing the town brilliantly. But I spoke with Georgia (who had organised the shoot) at length beforehand, and we discussed the kinds of locations we could use.
On the day we simply did a whistle stop tour of the town, and I found some really perfect locations along the way. The graffitti'd underpass has to be one of my favourites, and the spectacular wall on the train station was a gift. Parts of the old town were also really effective, and of course we had to finish up down on the old Harbour.
Shame an argument with a sign resulted in a hole in my head and a slightly curtailed end to the day!

Out in Folkestone

I had SUCH a great time with Georgia and her friends for the shoot last Thursday, it was just great to be able to try some new things. Being 17/18, they are far too old for the more usual Family Fun stuff, and wanted something a lot edgier. I was only too happy to oblige! Taking my inspiration from a lot of the new scene of Seniors lifestyle photography in the US, it was brilliant to be able to really work with the girls to create what they wanted. They had prepared brilliantly, had really thought about their outfits, and really helped make the most of the all-day session.
These are some of my favourite shots of the girls - some more location stuff coming later (I know they're just itching to see SOMETHING!.
