Oulton Hall Leeds Wedding of Nadine & Jack

A long journey up to get to Jack and Nadine’s venue Oulton Hall Leeds. Nadine and Jack actually married in St Mary’s Church first and then on to Oulton Hall for the reception. And guess what, the sun shone yet again, definite bonus.
The day started well and again with the Church first (two in a row!), meeting Jack and the boys outside, good humour all round and soon the Church was full – this was to be a fairly long service as it was to be a Roman Catholic mass. Nadine arrived and about to enter, when….Aaargh forgotten bouquet!! Okay so despatch the car back to the hotel to fetch said bouquet at once, fortunately Jack was informed and his nerves kept in tact…just! Bouquet arrived Nadine processed to marry her man. Service at last over the happy couple exited into the beautiful Yorkshire sunshine husband and wife.
Back to the reception at Oulton Hall, beautiful gardens, lovely views all round, drinks and canapes, formal photos done and dusted and I’m dry..DRY!! :-)
Time for everyone to take their paces for the meal, a veritable feast. The reception room had been beautifully decorated throughout and a great time was had by all; Speeches followed and then their was a little time for relaxation before the evening festivities – also a good time for Nadine, Jack and I to catch some lovely quiet shots.
The evening began with the cutting of the cake and then it was time for the happy couple to take to the floor for their first dance as husband and wife. First dance over and the band kicked in, everyone piled the dance floor – it was going to be a great party. My job now done a fond farewell and out into the night for the few hundred miles journey back home!
