Fun Photo Booth Pic’s From Athelhampton Charity event

So I did promise to post a few images from last weeks charity event at Athelhampton House in aid of Asthma UK. You may recall I was there with our whacky Photo Booth to take some very silly but fun pictures of guests to help raise those much needed extra funds.

So, as promised a little taster from Friday!

If you are looking to add that something extra to your weddings evening entertainment, why not consider our Photo Booth, loads of fun for you and your guests.

Birthday fun in the studio

Eloise decided that for her 13th birthday she would like to do something a little different. So she and a few friends came to the studio for a photo session party before going off for a Birthday meal. Sarah from Enzo’s Hair and beauty joined us to give the girls a make-over and then we let them loose on the studio, their shoot, the way they wanted, and I have to say we had real blast.

Hear are just a very few images from the shoot. Happy Birthday Eloise :-)

At-Bristol again!

So the lovely people at At-Bristol recently asked me back to do another shoot for them, that is pictures of people enjoying themselves on the wonderful exhibits and attractions; oh and some general atmospheric shots around the building.

If you have never visited At-Bristol and you love all things science-y then I thoroughly recommend you go, its a great day out and very good value for money too, oh and its for kids of all ages ;-)

A few images from the many!

Beaulieu Hampshire Silver Wedding Anniversary of Pat & Alistair

So I was very pleased a little while ago to be asked to cover the silver wedding anniversary, of Pat and Alistair Asher. A couple of weeks ago one very sunny warm evening I drove down to Beaulieu in Hampshire to the wonderful Domus (the setting for this evenings events) where I found Pat and Alistair ready to greet their guests for an evening of celebration to mark 25 years of wonderful marriage. Pat and Alistair had decided to have their evening captured in my usual informal style as this sort of thing was just not available to them 25 years ago when they got married and they just wanted relaxed natural pictures of the proceedings.

A fine sunny evening then as I mentioned before, and soon the courtyard of the Domus was full of Pat and Alistair’s guests drinking Champagne, Pimms and enjoying good company and canapes. An hour or so of fun conversation and catching up with friends and family, it was then time to head into the Domus itself for a celebration meal. Before tucking into the scrumptious feast Alistair made a funny and touching speech regaling tales of his and Pat’s first meeting, subsequent wedding and the wonderful 25 years of marriage so far. After dinner, the band started up and everyone danced the night away, a lovely evening indeed, congratulations Pat and Alistair on 25 years of marriage.

Dorset Photo Shoot with Ellis

So a few days ago I had to be filmed for a promo video and part of that included filming me inĀ  action so to speak! Well Ellis very kindly volunteered to pitch in and help, so it was only fair that I traded her a photo session in return. Ellis is only 18 and currently works in a pub, but has high aspirations of embarking on a modeling career, I wish her well in her ambitions. Thanks for the help Ellis, you were great.

New At-Bristol Brochure courtesy of Courtenay Photographic images!

You may remember, that towards the end of last year I was asked to do a shoot in my natural style for At-Bristol in Bristol naturally! They wanted pictures of families enjoying themselves on the many wonderful interactive displays all very hands on and a science and techie heaven. In fact there are so many wonderful things to do at At-Bristol the whole family will be totally consumed and entertained for the duration of their stay. So much so you may want to come back again almost immediately to fit in all those things you couldn’t the first time!
Anyway I digress.. as well as a few other families that I covered, I also took my family along with me, a great day out for them and maybe a few familiar faces for me. Anyway just recently At-Bristol sent me their new brochure and with other pictures of mine used, right on the front cover…yes you got it, my family :-)

Anyway here is the brochure, but I cant recommend At-Bristol highly enough, go visit soon as you can…and they are really nice people too, bonus!

Victorian Festival of Christmas – Portsmouth Historic Dockyard

I was asked just recently by the lovely people at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard to come and photograph (in my natural style of course) their Victorian Festival of Christmas now celebrating its 10th Anniversary. To be honest I didn’t know exactly what to expect, but what I was met with was more than I could have imagined. Fantastic street scenes full of fun and laughter. Many many versatile street actors all playing their parts in their various guises. A Victorian fair ground, Snow! (yes snow!), a packed indoor market, shows in abundance (many interactive) for example the Victorian Schoolhouse or the Flea Circus. Wonderful smells to tingle the taste buds, food and produce of every kind, marching soldiers, Queen Victoria herself suitable accompanied by her life long companion John Brown. And then of course there are the Ships themselves, HMS Victory, The Mary Rose, HMS Warrior an experience no one should miss. Even the BBC were there with Hugh Dennis and Oz Clarke doing there bit to tingle your taste buds! I could go on and on and on, really I could, what a fantastic experience, I had a great day and I was working. (Oh and Utd were in town winning 4-1 wich was a nice added bonus, but I kept that a little quiet I’m sure you can understand!)

If you missed this years Victorian Festival of Christmas at the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth, its a great shame, so make sure you don’t miss next year, its going to be legendary!

Thanks to all the staff at Pompey Dockyard for looking after me so well :-)

Here are just a few of my favourite shots from the day………
