Her are some of the lovely details from Claire and Pauls wedding at Brynkinalt Hall North Wales…..
Last weekend saw me haul up the motor way to lovely North Wales to the fabulous Brynkinalt Hall for the wedding of Claire and Paul.
The day itself, sunny warm and bright, started with the girls preparations at a local hotel, and then it was time to head over to Llangollen and St Collens Church to catch up with Paul and the boys and wait for Claire’s arrival.
A lovely ceremony and out into the summer sunshine and a short drive to the fabulous Brynkinalt Hall and Paul and Claire’s terrific marquee. What a welcome in the gardens awaited us, the fab Denbigh Male Voice Choir, a real treat to be seranaded by such fine voices whilst drinks and canapes sevrved.
A little quiet wander with Claire and Paul to capture some more romantic images and then back to the eager crowd for a few family formals. Time to head into the marquee now, lovely meal followed by very funny speeches and cutting of the the wedding cake.
A little delay, waiting for parents to change
and then it’s time for Claire and Paul to hit the dance floor for the first time as man and wife.
Another great day with fabulous people…love my job

On the 18th of June I trundled over to a fabulous little known part of Dorset, the wonderful Burton Bradstock (near Bridport) for the wedding of Francesca and Tim. A beautiful sunny summers day I started with the boys at the Three Horseshoes Inn for the Ushers Lunch and then off to the house (also the venue for todays reception) to catch up with Francesca and the girls as they made their preparations.
To the Church then, packed to the rafters and a wonderful ceremony to follow. Exit the new Mr & Mrs Baldwin into the summer sunshine and off to the family farmstead and the wonderful marquee set in the beautiful grounds and gardens.
Relaxation time now, champagne all round and time to catch up with old friends and maybe make some new ones too. A few family photographs achieved and then Francesca, Tim and I slip away for some romantic pictures and a little quiet time for the happy couple to reflect on the days prceeedings thus far.
Back to the marquee, time for the wedding breakfast, followed by speeches and cutting of the fantastic wedding cake. As the sun sets and darkness falls the DJ picks up the volume and it’s time for Francesca and Tim to take to the floor for their first official dance as husband and wife.
What a fantastic day

Saturday saw me heading back to the lovely Maunsel House in Somerset for the wedding of Nicola and Andrew, not quite so sunny but hopefully we would miss the showers!
First I joined the boys on the traditional Maunsel House Clay Pigeon shoot and then it was time to head to the King’s room to cover the Bridal preparations. A short journey to St Peters Church for the lovely ceremony and then back to Maunsel for the celebrations. A Saxophone and singer combo kept us entertained as we supped on fresh ice-cream from a vintage seller upon his bike and the sun came out in all the right places. A few formal photographs and a quiet wander with Nicola and Andrew to capture a few personal shots for their album.
Time to head inside for dinner and speeches followed by coffee and the cutting of the wedding cake and then to the dance floor for Nicola and Andrews first dance s man and wife.
Another great day full of wonderful little surprises and the weather behaved as well, choosing only to rain a little when we were indoors, perfect!

Some details from Victoria and Jonathan’s wedding at Highcliffe Castle last Saturday.
Saturday was a busy busy day! Off to Southampton first to Victoria’s house for the usual bridal preps and then to Highfield Church just round the corner to meet up with Jonathan and his merry men. A lovely black tie do today, I always think it looks so smart to see everyone dressed up.
Soon Victoria arrives looking stunning in her Jenny Packham 1930′s style gown and processes down the aisle to Jonathan. A lovely ceremony and then out into the warm Autumn sunshine, a confetti shower and then into the car for a drive to the New Forest where we stopped for some quiet time and some lovely romantic photographs. Back to the cars and off to Highcliffe Castle for the wedding reception. Drinks and canapes on the lawns of the Winter Gardens and entertainment by the fabulous 1940′s style group the Marjorie Belles, Mum made her speech on the steps of the Castle and then it was time to head indoors for a special kind of show! Showstoppers an impromptu musical company had us in stitches, as they told the story of Jonathan and Victoria’s life from past to future through the medium of song in various show tune styles from lloyd Webber to Lion King, very ‘Who’s line is it anyway’! Now it’s Victoria’s turn to make her speech.
A bit of a breather and then into the great Hall for Victoria and Jonathan’s first dance, not just any old dance mind you, full on Ball Room! Then it was the turn of the guests and family and the Tuca dance Company put them through their paces for half an hour or so of lessons, phew!
Time now to enter the dining room for the wedding breakfast, but first father of the Groom to make his speech. After the meal it was the turn of the Groom and Best man to address the crowd and then the official cutting of the wedding cake. We left the dining room and headed just over the hall to find the waiting band The Lionels, who then rocked the night away.
What a packed but fun day!
