Saturday saw me heading off to one of my favourite venues for a wedding the fabulous Maunsel House in Somerset. Oh what a beautiful spring day, in fact with the temperatures in the mid 20′s it was more like summer.
I started the day with the boys on a clay pigeon shoot and then to the house for the usual preparations of the Bride. A beautiful outdoors ceremony in the bandstand and relaxing in the summer like sunshine with pimms and canapes all in the beautiful grounds of Maunsel House.
After some quiet time with just Lucy and Jon, time to head in for the wedding breakfast followed by the traditional speeches, coffee time and then the cutting of the wedding cake.
The band all set and raring to go, Lucy and Jon took to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife.
Evening buffet a fantastic hog roast under the pergola set with twinkly fairy lights and then for the grand finale…a fab firework display.
All in all a wonderful day in a perfect setting!
