Letter from Sam

Sam

Dearest Courtenay, Laura & Family

I really hope this mail finds you in the best of health and happiness.

Your mail was very interesting and I wanted it to be read to me over and over again. I also love your photos very much. It's nice to hear about you, you seem to be a happy family, and I am

glad to be a part of it.

Let me tell you about my family. I have one sister, Cinderella, and a brother Royd. We live with both Dad and Mum. Right now (April) the rainy season is almost coming to an end, and we are doing a lot of harvesting. We have lots of fresh Maize, Groundnuts and Sweet Potatoes as well. Do you have any of these in your country?

Our staple food is called Nshima, pronounced as Shima in our local language. By the way I am Lunda by tribe. Apart from English, do you speak any other language?

Its really nice to hear from you, and I would love to hear from you again. My family and friends send their heartfelt love and thanks.

Love sent.
Sam.

Professional Photographer magazine interview

I was pleased to be interviewed for a feature in the April 07 issue of Professional Photographer magazine, discussing pregnancy photography. Whilst the article is aimed at fellow professionals, it is always nice to be recognised :)

Anna & Rob's e-shoot with Courtenay

Anna & Rob knew exactly where they wanted to go, and introduced me to a little-known local wood which is absolutely carpeted in bluebells at this time of year. I'm not going to name the place, it's an SSSI and I'm keeping it all mine! It was a fabulous session, the woods were stunning and Anna & Rob are very sweet together.
